Manlio Roseano
Spring Nominations

It's Spring Time and there are good news for "Le Cineaste".
The film has been nominated for Best Picture at the Five Continents International Film Festival in Venezuela. The awards in the different categories will be announced on Easter Saturday.
The New York City International Film Festival accepted the film and it will be screened as part of the programme from March 31st to April 14th. The precise dates when the film will be screened will be comunicate soon.
It also seems "Le Cineaste" has been particularly appreciated in Texas as it has been accepted both at the Austin International Art Festival and the famous Worldfest in Houston.
This is the third time I am participating in the festival in Houston. The first time was in 2002 with my first feature film "The Third Lion" that won the Silver Remi award for Best Foreign Film and again in 2013 with the short film "A bit older and a little bit taller" winning the Golden Remi Award for Best International Short Film. So let's see what's going to happen this year.
The Worldfest is taking place from the 16th to the 25th of April and I will comunicate the exact date when the film will be screened.
Last but not least, the lead actress in the film, Georgia Winters, has been nominated Best Actress in a leading role at the Golden Movie Awards. The ceremony will take place in London on the 18th of August.
